Tuesday morning, in my new kitchen! I couldn’t be happ… well, yeah I could happier, but it’s still fantastic. The stove is a used piece of junk, but it works. The fridge smells like old cheese and dead raccoons, but … well, it’s colder than outside. I was sure enjoying dining out, so this whole “cooking my own food” thing will take some getting used to. But, I did always love mom’s grilled cheese, so…

Well, Tuesday. Work was really really boring today; all the usual experiments, analysis, collecting samples, etc. The only thing that alleviated the monotony was a request for the creation and testing of an another anger-inducing serum. The creation was fairly routine, but I still needed to test it, on either myself – which would be a fair method, or on someone … Oh hey, Meagan.

I, on the other hand, was given another raise and title, and ended the day just a little less broke. When I got home, there was another delivery truck from the lab waiting for me. The lab had sent over my own chem lab! Good thing I can’t afford furniture yet, so I know just where to put it.

chapter 11 …

THings Can Only Get Better Tuesday morning, in my new kitchen! I couldn’t be happ… well, yeah I could happier, but it’s still fantastic. Oh, how I wish this was mom’s grilled cheese. I hope I get better at this.

No no… It’s a perfectly safe artificial food supplement. The boss said to test it.

Tee hee.

Well, it worked perfectly. Meagan spent the remainder of the day mad as hell, and couldn’t really figure out why. And she broke another computer.

I can’t decide if they like the work I’m doing so well, and they think I enjoy it so much, that I should have one to play with, or they think I *really* need to practice more. Either way…. Fun With Chemicals!

The raise also allowed me to purchase a small POS computer, which should really help with my gaming. WORK. With my work, and studying and whatever. Yeah. But, then I got a call from my old friend Serge, talking all excited about a fantastic dance party going on. I calmed him down, and we headed out.

Your clothing choices never fail to impress, Serge. Did you forget socks, or are you delib… ah. Okay. Will Tubbs be along soon to help solve crimes? Ah… but let’s face it, I’m not interested in you for your fashion sense.

Jumpin’! Caitlyn and Kimberley were there already, and we danced like mad.

It was a good time with friends and … wait, where’d Sergio end up?

Oh f’r heaven’s sake, Serge! That’s a blow to the little ego. Should I remind you that you invited *me* out to dance?

Seriously, dude. Wake up and dance with me!

God, it took him forever, but we danced. He’s actually a really good dancer, but by the time his moves showed up, it was after 2 in the morning.

I thanked him for a night out; I needed it. Tired and reluctant, I headed home.

I think he was a little stunned at my departure. Next time, don’t fall asleep on the bench, Serge.

Dinner was another quick grilled cheese, and this one was far better than my first. Mom would be proud.

You know… just before bed, let’s see if this …

Eh… whatever. It’s a place to sleep.
